ඇල්ල මාර්ගය අර්ධ වශයෙන් විවෘතයි
නානුඔය සිට බදුල්ල (ඇල්ල හරහා) 2026 ජුනි මාසයේ නැවත විවෘත කළා. මහනුවර සිට නානුඔය තවමත් වසා ඇත (ඩිට්වා සුළි කුණාටුවෙන් පසු).
සීගිරිය දැන් ආසන්න වශයෙන් US$35
විදේශීය වැඩිහිටියෙකුට (කෞතුකාගාරය ඇතුළුව). සාර්ක් රටවල අයට US$20. සියලු මිල ගමනාන්ත පිටුවේ බලන්න.

Tourist ETA is free for 40 countries
Since 25 May 2026 the 30-day tourist ETA costs nothing for eligible nationals. You still must apply before you fly.
Ella line partly reopened
Nanu Oya to Badulla (via Ella) reopened in June 2026. Kandy to Nanu Oya is still closed after Cyclone Ditwah.
Sigiriya is now about US$35

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට පැමිණීමට පෙර සෑම සංචාරකයෙකුටම Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) එකක් අවශ්‍යයි.
- ඔබේ රට පරීක්ෂා කරන්නරටවල් 40ක ජාතිකයන්ට දින 30 සංචාරක ETA නොමිලේ, දෙවරක් ඇතුළුවීමට වලංගුයි. නිල ලැයිස්තුව immigration.gov.lk හි තියෙනවා.
- පියාසර කරන්න කලින් online අයදුම් කරන්නනිල අඩවිය eta.gov.lk. අනුමැතියට සාමාන්‍යයෙන් වැඩ කරන දින 1–3ක් ගත වෙනවා.
- අනුමැතිය අතේ තියාගන්නවිදේශ ගමන් බලපත්‍රය අවම වශයෙන් මාස 6ක් වලංගු විය යුතුයි. දරුවන්ට වෙනම ETA එකක් ඕන.
- දින 30ට වඩා ඉන්නවා නම්දිගු කිරීමක් සඳහා අයදුම් කර දිගු කිරීමේ ගාස්තුව ගෙවිය හැක. 2026 මැයි 25ට පෙර ගෙවූ ගාස්තු ආපසු ගෙවන්නේ නැහැ.
Get your ETA
Every visitor needs an Electronic Travel Authorization before arriving.
- Check your countryNationals of 40 countries get a free 30-day tourist ETA, valid for double entry. The official list is on immigration.gov.lk.
- Apply online before you flyUse the official site, eta.gov.lk. Approval usually takes one to three working days.
- Carry your approvalYour passport should be valid for at least six months. Children need their own ETA.
- Staying longer than 30 daysYou can apply for an extension and pay the extension fee. Fees paid before 25 May 2026 are not refunded.
මුදල් සහ ටිකට්
රුපියල් වලින් ගෙවන්න
බොහෝ උරුම ස්ථාන ටිකට් ඩොලර් වලින් මිල කළත් ඒ දවසේ අනුපාතයට ශ්‍රී ලංකා රුපියල් වලින් ගෙවනවා. මුදල් රැගෙන යන්න; ගේට්ටු සහ උද්‍යාන වල card විශ්වාස කරන්න බැහැ.
උරුම ටිකට් online ගන්න
Central Cultural Fund එක eservices.ccf.gov.lk හි තෝරාගත් ස්ථාන වල e-ticket විකුණනවා. ඒවා ස්ථානයේ කවුන්ටරයෙන් ලබාගන්න.
සෆාරි වියදම් වැඩියි
උද්‍යාන ගාස්තුවට ඇතුල්වීම, සේවා ගාස්තුව, වාහන බලපත්‍රය සහ 18% VAT ඇතුළත්. ජීප් කුලිය වෙනම, අඩ දිනකට රු. 7,000–8,000 පමණ.
මිල වෙනස් වෙනවා
"Verified 2026" ලෙස සලකුණු කළ ගාස්තු 2026 මාර්තු–අප්‍රේල් වල පරීක්ෂා කළ ඒවා. ගේට්ටුවේදී සෑම විටම තහවුරු කරගන්න.
Money and tickets
Pay in rupees
Many heritage sites price tickets in US dollars but you pay in Sri Lankan rupees at the day’s rate. Carry cash; cards are not reliable at gates and parks.
Buy heritage tickets online
The Central Cultural Fund sells e-tickets for selected sites at eservices.ccf.gov.lk. They are collected at the site counter.
Safari costs add up
A park fee is entry plus a service charge, vehicle permit and 18% VAT. Jeep hire is separate, roughly Rs. 7,000–8,000 for half a day.
Prices change
Fees marked “Verified 2026” were checked in March–April 2026. Always confirm at the gate.
ගමන් බිමන්
දකුණු වෙරළ දුම්රිය
කොළඹ සිට ගාල්ල සහ මාතර සාමාන්‍ය පරිදි ධාවනය වෙනවා.
කඳුකර දුම්රිය
නානුඔය–ඇල්ල–බදුල්ල ධාවනය වෙනවා. මහනුවර–නානුඔය වසා ඇති නිසා ඒ කොටසට පාරෙන් යන්න. සම්පූර්ණයෙන් විවෘත කිරීම 2026 අග හෝ 2027 මුල ඉලක්ක කර තියෙනවා.
විහාර සහ දේවාල
උරහිස් සහ දණහිස් ආවරණය කරන්න, සපත්තු සහ තොප්පි ගලවන්න, අවසර නැතිව ඩ්‍රෝන් භාවිතා කරන්න එපා.
Getting around
South coast trains
Colombo to Galle and Matara runs normally.
Hill country trains
Nanu Oya to Ella to Badulla runs. Kandy to Nanu Oya is closed, so take a road transfer for that stretch. Full reopening is targeted for late 2026 or early 2027.
Temples
Cover shoulders and knees, remove shoes and hats, and skip drones unless you hold a permit.

නිවැරදි කිරීම
1912 සංචාරක ඇමතුම් මධ්‍යස්ථානයයි, පොලිස් අංකයක් නෙවෙයි. පොලිසියට 119 භාවිතා කරන්න.

Good to know
Landslide alerts
Hill-country areas around Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Ella can have landslide warnings after heavy rain. Ask your hotel before hiking.
Correction
1912 is the Tourism hotline, not a police number. Use 119 for police.
